Warm feeling!!! hamming cafe

New cafe has opened last week.

In Middle Cove, where is a bit far from centre of Sydney, located in North Shore.

Interesting thing is,,,

It's not Aussie owner's cafe.

The owners are Japanese who have gentle hearts and amazing ideas^^

They produce very warm atmosphere.

Their products are mostly handcrafted^^

Coffee beans " Morgan's " are nicely used there.

Lots of customer ( 95% Aussie people, 5% Japanese friends ) say " we've been waiting for new cafe around here  "

That shows good needs.

Vivid Sydney!!! Light festival

Coloring the city of Sydney with creativity and inspiration.

It's very sensational, fantastic festival here in Australia.

Actually this year is the fourth one, it means quite new^^

You can see a spectacular canvas of light, music and ideas from 25 May – 11 June 2012.

So,

I went there on Sat with my family!

In fact,,,

We were planing to go on Sun, but while we were taking for a walk at local beach " Balmoral " we changed our mind into seeing Vivid Sydney lights.

Because the weather was beauuuuutiful, wasn't cold and windy.

The time was almost 6:00 pm and we stayed there till 7:00.

Even a short time,

It was fabulous !!! ^^

Although the Sydney symbol "Opera House " was too simple, not wow!!!
...haha

I took a lot of photos as the highlights were everywhere...couldn't choose... I captured all.

Found!!! 2 nice cafes

I wanna come back !

First cafe is a very tiny one where is in CBD, Sydney.

Sorry, but I couldn't find the name though, the taste was rich and nice.

It made the queue for coffee.

It's located on King St, near " Mecca " cafe in the corner of York St and King St.

moved into Manly !!!

The other one....;-)))


Its name is " Barefoot Coffee Traders ".

The coffee was great ! fantastic !!!
(Although they use " Toby Estate Fair Trade " beans which I don't like much actually...)

I was also very impressed by staff and atmosphere.

A lot of people

They were very friendly, very serious about coffee, working nicely with lovely customers.

Even take away coffee,

They made a latte art!

Fun!!! Walking and talking

It's a perfectly beauuuuuutiful day today !!!

Fantastic, isn't it? ^^

So,

I walked down the hills towards Balmoral Beach and came back to my place after dropping off my boys to school.

It was a great meeting, fun chat and nice exercise.

Very relieved to realize we have a completely similar motivation about walking style.

Must be good exercise!!!

But should be enjoyable and not tough.

I ordered a large "Flat White", it was nice there.

Normally regular one is correct, though it depends on cafe's skill.

Although it's my point view,,,,,

I love Italian food.

At ristorante or trattoria... doesn't matter !!!

Italian restaurant creates a joyous surround everywhere.

That's why I like it^^

Everything about foods ( Eating, Cooking, Picking, Farming ) should be fun, makes us happy, joyful, smile, healthy.

Of course, I love a beautiful Japanese food as well.

I went to have a lunch with my husband on Mon in CBD, Sydney.

Early Mothers Day treat ?!

Mother's Day, whose???

For me?

Am I a mum of whom?

Still now,,,

It takes a bit time to realize that my presence as a mother for my boys is exactly me.

It's not a negative thinking at all.

Mysterious....feeling...＾＾；

Because I've always believed the Mothers Day has been a special day for my mum.

Even now, hehe

Very Australian!!! FW coffee

As I often blog about coffee, I like a coffee beverage.

Especially I love " FLat White " which is originating from Australia.

It's similar to " Latte " and " Cafe au lait ", but it has a bit less textured milk in the cup. So you can feel more espresso than those kinds.

Simply cooked!!! Weekend dinner

Oooops !!!

I know it's already in May today....

Actually I supposed to post in April.

Because I started to draft it last week. 

But on the way writing,,,,,my home wifi had got a trouble.

So,

We needed to change a new broadband company.

Then,

We contracted a new one and waited for a new modem in 3 days...

Meant,

No network for 3 days....><

Although I got an i-phone, hahaha...

It was a bit slow whenever I tried to write something here.

Well,

About " Simply cooked weekend dinner " 

In fact, I love to collect various kinds of seasoning at home.

Salt, pepper, honey, olive oil, vinegar, soy sauce, seasoning mix powder cheese, and so on .....

I'm just interested in discovering dishes by those ones.

Wanna taste beautiful combination on the plate.

Even simple cooked,

Just amazing.

So

On last weekend, I got a truffle salt with Sonoma sourdough and Bangalow Cheese triple cream

I just fried meat and used the truffle salt simply.

Fried onion n bean sprout on the side& vegetable soup

It was really nice combination !!!

Could felt freshly harvested French Black Truffle from soft salt.

I wanna highly recommend it to you !!!
