I was really impressed and surprised with this article " Mosman Dairy ".
http://mosman-daily.whereilive.com.au/news/story/familys-taste-of-hunger/
Actually my son's classmate " Isobel " was in the paper.

Of course,
I know her family. They're lovely !!!
Her family's beautiful action was mentioned there.
The details are as follows.
//////////////////
Isobel, 7, four-year-old Georgia, mum Sharon and dad Andrew went hungry for a day to collect funds for the East Africa emergency appeal for UNICEF.
On a recent Sunday Mr and Mrs Moseley did not eat at all until dinner, and the girls had porridge for breakfast but no snacks or lunch through the day.
Isobel said she had learned to feel “very grateful” about always having food on her plate, and says she will always eat even if it was not her favourite dish.

Surprisingly, I had a similar experience when I was child.
It was called " Grateful Day ".
My dad made it for us.
Every Thursday I had to eat only a tiny rice ball for dinner feeling grateful.
Small rice ball ...That's all ><
Sometimes my mum added a hot miso soup kindly.
I still remember it was hard to be patient every week, but I could learn a lot of things and I really appreciate my parents.
I might try to do same things for my children in the future^^
Lovely empathy,
A xx
