From library

Sometimes I go to the library in order to search for something inspired me.

I generally borrow some recipe boooks, movies, magazines and novels.

Of course, all in English.

I need to practice it !!!

BTW,

This time, I borrowed 2 recipe books as follows.

"Wild food by Juleigh Robins"and "small bites by Jennifer Joyce"

I love it "Pan fried Halloumi salad"

Especially I love the first one " Wild food ".

That's one of my favorite books.

In fact I always flip through it at my favorite shop&cafe " Wild Basket " while having a coffee.

I can discover a lot of things from this book.

Color, decoration, design, choice etc....

Let me analyze myself ....

But I'm sure beautiful looking makes me energetic.

Monday kicked off nicely !!!

I had a wonderful time with one of my best friends Karina today.

After dropping off my son at school, I went straight to Balmoral beach.

With my little one ^^

I met her and her little one there.

Perfect weather !!!

Everything was beauuuuutiful ^^

Lovely coffee.

Why not ? hehe

Taking for a walk, chat, watching the boy's playing, shopping etc...

And we moved into my place.

I cooked a simple pasta for us.

Roasted chicken w roasted capsicum & chili relish &tomato sauce, w fresh extra virgin olive oil, sun dried tomato, chili olive, rocket, cabbage, broccoli.

Just listening to a jazz ...

After lunch,

I made 2 cups of coffee, Karina's cappucino and my flat white using my machine^^

That was my pleasure ^^ I enjoyed a lot !

Something about Meryl Streep

I found a magazine " Vanity Fair " in which Meryl Streep was on the cover .

Actually she is one of my favorite actresses.

Look at her face !

How beautiful, gorgeous, characteristic, cute, interesting, pleasant ^^

I might need myriad expressions to describe her.

That's why I like her.

Her works make me curious.

Especially, I was very impressed by the movie " Julie and Julia ".

She did an amazing performance about Julie there.

Of course, I love " The Devil Wears Prada "

Glorious view from beach

Hope the winter will be finished.

I thought of that while I was seeing the sea at Balmoral beach.

The weather was wonderful , though it was a bit windy, cold in the shade.

The view was " Awesome " !!!

Awesome, isn't it?

Especially,

Morning is the best, fresh, clean, quiet, beauuuuuuuutiful ^^

I've felt so happy to just have a view sitting on the grass.

Of course,

With coffee (^^)

I had a take away " Large Flat White " at Bertoni.

I like that cafe which has another one in Balmain as well.

I have a very delightful time with a glorious view and a yummy coffee.

Le Parisien Bakery & Cafe

Most of every Saturday, I might come there...

I like this atmosphere.

though I'm not good photographer

I love a French taste.

Fortunately,

It's located close to a Japanese language school.

It means every Sat I have to take my son to that school and wait for him until noon.

Don't waste a time !!!

Good use of being relaxed ^^

I can have a nice coffee with a rich macaroon or sometime different dessert.

Dinner with Japanese mum friends

It was wonderful time without kids.

That night out was in almost 2 years.

In fact,

Normally, we meet at park or playground somewhere suitable every week.

Yes, we can see those friends once a week.

But it's a meeting with children.

Always we have to watch their playing, feed them, focus on taking care of them.

Always busy....

So, we could have used own time for ourselves ^^

We went out for dinner and had a 6 course of unique, modern, interesting Japanese foods.

They were very tasty-----!!!

Especially I loved " Purple Potato Gnocchi " which was beautiful decoration.

Genius at drawing

Is it too much parental love?

About my 7yrs son,

I know it is a bit.

Maybe not...?

Just I might wanna believe it ...

I'm sure he has a talent for drawing.

He's a boy but he loves beautiful things
( flower, rainbow, food and all of colorful things )

Whenever he finds beautiful flowers, he makes a bouquet and presents me^^

How sweeeeet !!!

It's a oil painting.

So I think  it's well done !!!

My 2 favorite designers of " Project Runway Australia "

I taped the Episode 6 on Mon and watched it on Wed.

Yeah !!!

Johnny and Dylan have won this challenge.

It was " Off to the Gold Coast to be reunited with designers past in a team challenge that will see an eliminated designer return and a final 6 eliminated."

It was a bit shocking for me because a bit unfair system...

So,


Rachael was eliminated... Bye～


Nerida was in !!! Congrats !!!


I love Johnny's and Dylan's works which are enhanced by gold pieces.


I think they're definitely top two designers.


I can't wait for next episode 7 !!!


I also check a result of " Project Runway " which is original one in USA every week on my pc.


But it's frustrating because I have to watch it using a Youtube...it's tooooo slow.....

Exercise at gym

Finally!!!

I did an exercise at a gym.

During my boys karate lesson. Hehe ...

They're learning it at same place.

Normally I have a coffee at a cafe downstairs during the karate.

like this ^^;

But I could use my time for taking care of my body.

Hooray!!!

It was fabulous time ;-)

In fact, my husband gave me a gift voucher of that gum at Mother's Day in May.

But I haven't used it...though I wanted !

I've ever jogged and walked with my friends at night on the road.

So,

After 50 mins,

My muscles were so pleased to do exercise using running machine, walking up the hill machine
and bicycle.

Huge Success ?！

It just means my son's 7th BD party.

We had a "Samurai Soccer party" yesterday on Sun.

BD cake I baked

Sword and hat I made

lots of presents and cards

All of 19 boys we invited came to enjoy it.

only 2 Japanese ( included Ken ), 18 Aussie boys ! WOW !

It was over my control ... haha

But,

Of course,

So much fun !!!

Boys were very active and some of them were too aggressive...naughty. haha^^;

I haven't got a time to take pictures ... used my full time for organizing it....

Anyway,

No hurt, no accident, no rain ...

We got 2 soccer coaches to teach them.

They really did a super job. Thanks !!!

Can I say " Congrats on a huge success "? hehe

I was relieved that it finished successfully.


Actually I've been wondering whether it would be sunny and we could do a party as plan.

Because the forecast said that  it would be rainy and shower possible on Sunday.

But,

Oh my god ! Weather was perfect, we got a sunny.

It was mysterious because it started raining after his party.

After the party, we went to Balmoral Beach for lunch with 2 coaches.

Although it rained and sometimes stopped...

Anyway,

My son got so many presents of smile and a bit tear by boy's playing.

Aroma Festival 2011

Why have I been busy ? I couldn't get a chance to write my blog in this week.

Tired of what ? Preparing a bd party? housekeeping? hobby work? some pressure?

Maybe nothing caused^^

Anyway I'm here now to write this diary for myself to be brilliant.

I know this action makes me comfy.

BTW,

As I say that theme, I went to the rocks near Circular Quay " Aroma Festival " on Sun.

This festival is the best because I can experience the world in a day with different cafe's coffees.












It was like waking up and smell the coffee in the streets of The Rocks.

I chose two cafes " FORSYTH " and " MILAZZO ".

I preferred the first one which was rich and tasty.

Hmmmmm,

I realized that I was really a coffee-lover.

It was a long long day actually.

After the festival, I got in ferry toward Darling Harbour and then China town.
