Good vibes!!! The Local Bar

It was doing on last Sunday.

I went to " The Local Bar " which I've been interested in.

It's famous as a place where a Hollywood star " Sam Neil ", an Australian actor " David Wenham " and an Australian rugby player " George Gregan " like.

http://www.thelocalbar.com.au/

The view from my table
At first,

We were planning to have a coffee...

After I dropped off my son for his friend's 8th bd "skateboard party" at 9:00 in that morning.

Skateboard party in the sun
Till picking up time at 11:00.
In Cammeray skateboard park

It was located In Neutral Bay, Lower North Shore.

Well,

Do u think how many coffee did we order there?

First FW coffee and hot chocolate " Beautiful "
After all we had 2 coffees each(total 4 cups ) n hot chocolate, organic sourdough toast w berry jam and boiled egg on toast.

Healthy Breakfast !!!
Because

They produced a wonderful atmosphere.

I was very impressed!!!

Very comfy time....^^

As you might know, I really like searching good cafe.

A good cafe for me means that it has excellent coffee, friendly service, comfy design, creative sense.

So,

About that cafe,

The Local Bar has got a almost perfect score by me.

It was only a pity that coffee had a gentle taste, soft n silky, not strong n rich.

Just a little bit, almost I was happy;-)))

Anyway,

I enjoyed a time as a Sunday morning tea.

I'm sure we'll come back to be regular.

Nominated as my favorite cafe ^^
C u this weekend!!! Hehe;-)

Lovely vibes,

A xx

Grand Finale !!! The Voice

" The Voice "

This is a very popular recent TV show in Australia.

Although I didn't know its existence till Sun, a grand finale day....haha

Actually I was recommended to watch it from my friend, so I did watch.

It was very sensational for me !!!

BTW,

Do you know what's that show ?

Alright,

Let's learn about "The voice",

On The Voice the four superstar musician coaches begin to select teams of twelve based solely on an artist's voice. Seal, Joel Madden, Delta Goodrem and Keith Urban, are competing as coaches - each one hoping to discover, and nurture Australia's next great voice.

http://www.thevoice.com.au/

It's a sort of audition TV show.

And it has just ended up deciding a winner on Sun and Mon.

Finished on this Mon. Completely...

I could see it ^^

But I regretted I've been watching a different fashion TV ( Project Runway ) at same time on same day.

Because there were plenty of beautiful, emotional, amazing voices.

Especially

Karise !!!
On the front page^^

Congrats^^ She got a winner.

It means she has the best voice in Australia^^

Her voice is tremendous.

And,

Interestingly,

I'm sure that this show will be musical and social media phenomenon in 2012.

Very positive economic effects
Season average audience : 3,382 million

Season peak audience : 3,769 million

thevoice.com.au visits : over 1.3 million

Website video streams : 15 million

Youtube video streams : 11 million

Youtube Voice subscribers : 11,369 million

Facebook fans : 139,495

Twitter followers : 28,000

#thevoiceau trended worldwide : 4 of 6 shows

Wow.....massive numbers .....!!!

Those results are symbols of the time.

Amazing!!! Salt and salt and jam

Oh my goodness...

I really blame myself !!! It has already passed the middle of June!

But I posted my blogging only twice...

Gosh! I've got so many things which I wanted to put in my basket.

Wonder why i couldn't manage my time...

Even I was in Japan for 5 days...

No, not excuse.

Anyway,

I'm happy now as I'm here to write my blog about new lovely seasoning.

" Rokusuke Salt "
Very famous salt "Rokusuke"in Japan

I met it yesterday at my Japanese friends' house.

Sadly they're going to Brisbane in 2 mons.

They're lovely!!!

She and her husband invited us over a BBQ party at their place.

Wow, everything was so delicious!!!

We had plenty of oyster, shrimp and lamb and drinks.

And then,

She recommend that salt which included a seaweed powder n shiitake mash room powder.

It tasted special, smelled yummy.

Beauuuutifl!!!

And also had a Tetsuya's truffle salt.

Feeling like very Japan...Although I'm in Sydney.

Thanks, Akiko!!!

I love it;-))))

Kids are watching "TOTORO"movie

And,

Today I got a marmalade jam from another Japanese friend who will go back to London forever.

" Ruby Grapefruit Marmalade "

from my favorite "Burnt Orange" shop in Mosman
I can't wait for breakfast tomorrow because I got a loaf of Sonoma Polenta sourdough at Eveleigh market yesterday (^-^)/

Lovely sensation,

Autumn leaves!!! Lunch at Botanic Garden

Nice coloring ^^
I like this contrast^^
Near the Harbour Bridge

It was beautiful autumn leaves on last Fri.

I and my young son went to CBD, Sydney by bus for my i-phone's repair.

Can you see Opera house over the window?

hahaha

i-phone.....

(Yeah...my i-phone's front screen had been broken by my first one. He dropped my I-phone at petrol station...)

And after repair, we went to the Royal Botanic Gardens with my husband for lunch^^

http://www.rbgsyd.nsw.gov.au/

With sandwiches, Japanese lunch plate....

With Flat White coffee, of course^^

BACCO's FW
It was good, though it was too hot.

;;;;;;relaxed;;;;;;

Nice breeze----

But,

On the weekend it was rainy.....sometimes heavily raining ....and cold.

Awful ><

Although you might regard " Sydney " as a city where you can constantly see sunny ^^;

we have many rainy and cold or windy days.

But still I don't have much idea in case of wet day.

There is a little choice without outside activities ( BBQ, Something at beach, Sports, Market, Party ).

So,

We had to go shopping at big mall.

Actually,

As my family thinks so, everyone does ...that's why...parking is always crazy...

This weekend was same, there were a lot of people who were looking for spaces of parking.

Although we took a bit time for parking, but we had a nice shopping there.

Anyway,

I love weekend. hehe^^

Lovely missing sunny,

Biology?! My boys' interest

About looking after creatures.

My boys love all the animals.

Lizard, snake, frog, spider, fish, crab, dog, monkey, birds...etc

Especially they seems to like reptile....

My boys often try to catch them whenever we walk around our place.

Like this ^^;
Huuuuummm

Crab at river
Very boys' play, isn't it ? ,,,,,haha

^^;

Of course the mum has to be brave, be kind to allow their requests about breeding..

How about my case?

Fortunately?!

No worries !!!

What ?!

Why?!!!

Actually,

They're very similar to my childhood^^

My boys' curiosity may come from mine... seriously.

I remember I used to catch lizards by the roadside and show them to my mum when I was a child. (As my mum hated lizards, so she screamed and got angry w me ^^; )

Although I was a girl...I was a very active country girl (oops, still not grown up...(^^;;)

So,

I'm happy to introduce my kids' pets at home.

My first son got a tiny fish at Manly beach

My second one got 2 lizards near our place
Old brother's tadpole

Young one's 2 tadpoles. One is growing as a frog !!!

Hopefully it could be a good biology for my boys!

Cheers to a rich Sydney environment!!!

With friends at Balmoral beach

Lovely nature,

A xx
