Back to school and back to work!

After autumn school holiday, the second term has started at school on Tue.

Meant I was back to work then.

I inspired this topic by my favorite this local free paper^^
I enjoyed having my own time without kids even by my hobby work;-)

Lunch at my working cafe
Good !!!

Although I made a cappuccino coffee there,,,,haha,,,,

And then,

Next day,

On Wed,

No school on ANZAC holiday...

Back to holiday!

Again!!!

I had a wonderful time with my family.

FW at home by my espresso machine
So,

On Thur, I felt "back to school" finally.

I went to my favorite cafe" The Espresso Room " straight away after dropping off my son in this morning.
FW coffee at Espresso Room

Realized that I needed that warm atmosphere w tasty coffee.

Though my little devil was with me...

Can you find the devil ??^^;
Phew...;-)))

Anyway,

Lovely fresh start,

Passionate!!! Bay Coffee's beans

It was a time to try new beans.

" Bay Coffee " in Neutral Bay

http://www.baycoffee.com.au/index.php/

(They have a special roaster and sometimes roast beans freshly.)

When I visited there, I could meet beans roasting ^^

Fulfilled w aroma

Lucky!!!

Actually I used to get those beans " Bay Roast Blend " and " Italian Roast "regularly before Mecca's " Dark horse " and " Di Gabriel ".

Considering which one was best for me
At this time I chose "Guatemala Ceylan SHB Organic "which the staff recommended.

Got 250g whole beans

I needed a full bodied lusty espresso coffee.

And I took away coffee Flat white as usual^^

It was FW from which was made " Bay Roast Blend ".

Nice and rich !

Good stuff

How about my FW at home?

Could I reappear it perfectly?

Not sure....

But I could feel a strong aroma in my cup.

80 points?

haha....

Practice practice^^;
FW which I made with left over pancakes, Easter choc

I'm a bit nervous myself whenever I try to make my coffee by new beans at home.

But I love improving everything about coffee ^^

BTW,

This pic was one which I took at my friend's house.

I enjoyed bringing out my girlish mind there.

Pretty combination, isn't it?

How do I look with a pale pink?

Unfitting?

Noooooooo----!

Maybe pink color suits me....^^

Noooooooooo---- I can hear someone's voice^^;

Anyway,

I love pink !!! hehe

Lovely texture,

Go!!! Manly Sea Eagles!

" Manly Warringah Sea Eagles "

That's a NRL( National Rugby League ) team.
http://www.nrl.com/
NRL !!!

My boys love watching NRL match n especially it's their favorite team.

Do you think I'm keen on watching it?

No....no....I'm not....actually

hahaha ^^;

I used to like watching NFL( National Football League )  when I was in USA and I really loved it.

Nice players, simple rules, energetic atmosphere...

But ....to be honest, here in Australia I'm not enthusiastic about rugby "NRL".

I can enjoy watching it, of course, but it's all for my kids.

Shhhh....(^^;;

Maybe I haven't a little knowledge yet.

Sorry...

So,

During Easter holiday, we went to a game " Manly Sea Eagles VS Panthers Newcastle " in Brookvale where was nearest stadium from my place.

A lot of people

It was nice and fun though it was very cold around 17 degrees when that game has started at 7pm.

Going well by a huge margin
GO---! Enthusiastic fans shouted!!!
We enjoyed supporting our team " Manly Sea Eagles " although we left there 10 min before!

Boys were so happy to get sprinkle ice-cream.
Lucky boys!!!

They didn't mind whether its game was still continuous or finished..

Anyway,

Lovely tackle,

7 years old comprehension about parting

About conversations with 7 & a half years boy, my first son.

Conversations about parting.......

Actually,

Sadly,

My son's best friend is leaving here in Australia to go back to Japan late of this month.

He's a Japanese boy who has been playing together at same school and definitely my son's first close friend^^

Yes,,,,,

Very sad news.....

So I organized a farewell session on last day of school.

"Good-bye Good luck "greeting card which I decorated
Very Australian cake which one of mums Caroline baked
Looks yummy !!!

In order to hold my son's memory in his heart...

It was wonderful and precious time^^

But interestingly my son's reaction was so calm down...

No emotional,

No upset,

( Of course, the boys don't cry......).

He seemed to hardly believe it, face it, imagine it and comprehend its fact.

...............

I was just watching n analyzing his aspect.

????

He's still asking me " Is he leaving forever? ever? ,mum ? "

With mysterious aspect....

???

Kidding?!

Funny?

Very sweet !!!

Interested in his comprehension^^

Although I have no idea that it's an average comprehension for his age or he's just pretending to be cool.

Anyway,

Let's see how he'll go next term.

Without his best friend

I believe,

Everything will be a good experience for him.

And,

I'm sure its parting will built a stronger friendship between them.

Because it's a small world now n we have a fantastic technology;-)))

Hope they'll keep in touch forever!!!

Lovely emotion,

Best organic market !!! Eveleigh Market

I've been awaited this time.....for a long time...

I mean this chance to go to Eveleigh Market!!!

Do you remember a similar pic from same angle?
Normally I can't come for shopping because I've got my son's Japanese language school at same day and almost same time.

That school is located very far from there.

So,

I only can make it during the school holidays( no Japanese Sat school ).

So,

On Easter Saturday,

Finally I went there.

Yippee!!!^^

I'm not keen on having organic foods every day, but I like fresh foods, bustling market.

Though I've ever written down this market last July,haha^^;

Here is my previous post.

http://akko-mybrilliantbasket.blogspot.com.au/2011/07/organic-market.html

Eveleigh Market is an award-winning authentic Farmers’ Market held every Saturday from 8am to 1pm in the city of Sydney.

I can see a lot of local farmers and artisan food producers bring their fresh and seasonal produce, and every time their stall has different face.

That's why I've got love it.

At this time, first of all I had a bacon & egg roll for breakfast at Pope's free range egg shop.

Ordered w BBQ sauce and w tomato one each
W classic music next door
With a flat white coffee, of course!

Taste succeeded, phew^^

And then,

"fare gourmet " brownie, fresh organic veggies, and flower and so on....

Rich taste, super yummmm
Kurrawong Organics
Jonima flowers
bunch of protea
And boys also enjoyed carrying adorable animals^^

Lucky boys!!! from Kindi Farm

I'm really looking forward to coming again !!!

Welcome to my place

Lovely atmosphere,

Hop hop hop!!! Easter egg hunt

We're on Easter holidays.

Easter Friday,

Easter Saturday,

Easter Sunday,

And then Easter Monday,

Four days!!!

2 days passed...it was nice and relaxed time with my family^^

Fabulous!!!

Although I can see a lot of police cars to carry a fine everywhere...

Yes, everywhere....><

Even if I wouldn't do anything wrong, it looks so scary....I hate them.

(As especially during public holidays they carried double demerits.OMG!!! )

Ooops

Sorry,,,,,

Let's go back to the topic " Easter Egg Hunt ",

I think it's also getting popular in Japan.

When I was child, when I was a country girl, hehe(^^;;
I didn't have any idea about Easter..Of course

What???

It's a symbolic and traditional game during which decorated egg are hidden in various places for children to find.

So

First of all parents prepare many decorated eggs( chocolates ) and hide them while kids are playing.

And kids have to bring whatever basket to put finding eggs.

Eggs and muffins I baked
In fact I really enjoyed hiding eggs.

It was so much fun for me, too^^
I was like a child...hahaha....

Finding

Eating time after game

Plenty !!! many chocs

It was a big fun event for my boys, too.

Thank you for organizing, my son's school friend Charlie n mum Emma!!!

Happy Easter !!!

Lovely experience,

A xx
