Recent flat white coffee and dessert

As you know,

I love coffee.

So, I'm always discovering a good cafe.

And also l love baking, too.

Though it depends on my mood.

hehehe ^^;

This is a pear, apple tarte from a bill's recipe.

Looks similar or not ?!

I made it for my friend's farewell party.

It was tasty....I hope all of guests liked it....^^

And,

This is a picture of my family's morning coffee at home.

on weekend

I made a cheese cake and made a " Flat White " coffee.

Using coffee beans of " Mecca "

My husband got it in the city, thanks !!!

Love it !!!

Although I'm still practicing to make a good coffee....

I wanna make a beautiful and tasty coffee like this coffee below " DOSE espresso " .

Different faces of ” Balmoral Beach "

Balmoral Beach

It's an urban locality in the suburb of Mosman which is a famous part of Lower North Shore, NSW, Australia.

AND,

For me,

It's the nearest beach and one of my favorite beaches.

Sometimes I go there for relax or exercise or coffee or my boy's play....and so on...

Interestingly,

It shows me different faces every time^^

For example,

It was a last weekend's.

There were a lot of people who enjoyed sun-baking and swimming like a summer.

Very busy place

It's autumn now....

But we've got beautiful , hot, sunny day^^

Loved it !!!

Although my boys were keen on catching a crab, finding a sea shell....

Shhhhhh....,Mum!

Anyway,

Beautiful blue day !

On the other hand,

It was a yesterday's.

Only one swimmer ?

I went there by walk for my exercise.

Very quiet place...

You can see some joggers far away.

Unfortunately,

It was dark, cloudy day....in fact it started to rain later..

But even a sunny day,

Always it shows me a nice and quiet weekday face.

I love it, too

And tomorrow,

I'm going there for my son's school event " Beach Carnival ", too.

I'm looking forward to seeing tomorrow's face^^

Comfy time with friends

It was great time yesterday.

Good surprise :-)

After kids went to bed, I visited Karina's place for a walking n having a chat.

We walked a bit n had a little party at her balcony.

Especially spinach soup was beautiful !!!

It was fantastic time!

Wow!!!

I'm really happy to spend a wonderful time w best friends Celina n Karina.

Just comfy....(^-^)/

With tasty Russian dishes, relaxed tea n quiet night atmosphere...

Yummy! Jamie's Italian

Famous as Naked Chef in UK,

" Jamie Oliver "

There is a first Sydney " Jamie's Italian " restaurant on the Pitt St, CBD. 

From outside

I had a lunch w my husband after my regular health check up today.

Actually,

I've been interested in his food passion.

Because I sympathize with a concept of Jamie's Food Revolution.

But,


How about his restaurant? 

Nice design, a lot of customers

Good !!!

In fact,

I heard that restaurant hasn't got good reviews in any papers.....

But,

It was much better than I expected ^^

Everything was so yummy and beautiful food layout.

I ordered 2 small pasta" MUSSEL LINGUINE, BUCATINI CARBONARA, " and a salad "BEST HUMBLE GREEN SALAD ".

And the color was beauuuuuuuuuutiful !!!

Tasty Linguine and tubular Spaghetti,

Grated parmesan,

Chilli & Lime flavor,

Smoked Pancetta...an so on...

Paid only $32, cheap!!!

We had a great time here.

Alright!

I'd love to match those food with wine^^

One year has passed... Japan Quake and Tsunami

In Japan

We've got the most massive and devastating earthquake, tsunami and incredible nuclear accident.

About 19,000 precious people died and missed....

I still can't find words what to say to them.

I'm sure we'll never forget the things that it happened and that all of Japanese people joined together for reclaiming as much as we could.

Still still still....

We struggle with a lot of problems... to be back to normal, to get a living nature again.

But I believe we certainly can recover in the steady way.

And wishing,

No more scary quake anywhere in the world, please please !!!

Flowers by Emily

This is a florist shop name in Northbridge.

I happened to find it because it was located next to a cafe I've been interested in. 

I was impressed by a lovely window display which I found when I happened to walk by that shop.

My second son was interested, too !!!

There were two real bunnies ^^

It also had a children coloring-in competition display.

Brilliant !!!

I like it so much.

It wasn't only a display, but also had another meanings.

It was fulfilled with heartwarming, sweet, thoughtful, maternal ideas.

Well done, mum !!!


Actually I really love flowers and I love a life with flowers.

When I was child there were a lot of flowers every rooms in my place.

At the entrance, living, dining room, guest room and so on.

Because my mum loves a flower arrangement.

That's why I always catch my sight of beautiful flowers^^

My boys love them, too^^

Sometimes they make a bouquet flower for me while we're taking a walk.

Finally re-air Project Runway Season 9

I can't believe it !

How far is it from US to here in Australia----?!!!

( big sigh........)

About the re-broadcast of American TV show.....

In fact,

My favorite TV show " Project Runway " started in Aug last year and finished in late of Oct.

Season 9 !!!

But,

Aug, Sep, Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan in 2012....

6 months past....

Finally last week in Feb

That show has been repeated here in Arena channel.

I can't understand why it took a long time ( 6 mos ) to watch it.

Too late....

In US, the new season " Project Runway All stars " is already on-air now.

Yes,

New season !!

Happy to watch my boys

Children are wonderful.

Adventurous, creative, active, bright, adorable and pure, flexible and so on....amazing !

I can come up with so many adjectives in my mind.

As you might know, I got two boys whose age 7&4 yrs.

Funny mixed DNA!!!

Just looking at my boys makes me happy.

What interesting creatures they're!!!

Especially It's very interesting to see how they're naturally learning English in everyday life.

Amazing !!!

Hehe...

I love to observe their action, ask them about some questions, listen to their answer, talk with them, play with them, eat meals with them....



Their ideas always make me surprised.


Actually,

I used to work for a food company as a member of product development team in Japan.

Every 5 mins  I had to produce new ideas.

That life was busy, though it was fulfilling as well.

But now I'm busy as a mum.

My creative boys mum!!!

It was just interesting comparison.

" Daily Telegraph ", " FINANCIAL REVIEW " and " The Sunday Morning Herald "

Just I wanted to compare them.

On this Mon,

Different front pages

We got two significant events about person.

One was about the political incident, the other one was about the winners Oscars.

Politics,

Julia Gillard defeated Kevin Rudd in the leadership ballot of the Labor.

And then after few hours later " Mr. Faceless "Mark Arbib made a decision to resign dramatically.

This year is gonna be important movement for her whether the Prime Minister Julia Gillard could survive.

In fact, I'm not good at politics, but I've been particularly interested in the politic because my favorite car radio program talked about it in recent days.

And,

The Academy Awards 2012,

My favorite actress " Meryl Streep " has got the third Oscar award in 33 years as the movie " The Iron Lady ".

Hooray!!!
