Explored new cafe " Dose "in Willoughby

I love to visit a new cafe which someone highly recommends.

in the newspaper,

in the magazine,

on TV,

or by word of mouth ... and so on....

At this time, I found an article about new cafe " Dose "in the magazine " NORTH SIDE ".

I loved the story, especially I got interested in my favorite coffee roasted beans " Di Gabriel ".

So next day I went there as a curious customer^^

There were nicely chic brick walls, artistic chairs and a sugar held in beakers.

I ordered 2 flat whites for me and my husband and babycino w tiny cake for my little one.


The FW coffee has an excellent texture, rich flavor and beautiful froth milk.

My belated birthday present !!!

My birthday was already finished on 4th,Jan.

But surprisingly I've got a wonderful birthday present from my friends on this Wed.

We went to the city, "Summit - Orbit Bar, Sydney " and then moved to Macy's cafe in Neutral Bay.


I'm so happy to have a cocktail ( I ordered " Mr pink " which is Vodka with fresh watermelon.) and have a chat.

Interior coordinate workshop

I attended at a very interesting workshop yesterday.

" Kimiko Mikuni "

She is a color consultant, interior stylist.

She has just set off her own business in Mosman to consult about the interior design.

I've ever met her n her son before as a mum friend, so I knew her.

She conducted the workshop, it was the first attempt for her.

I was lucky because she asked me about that workshop.

It was wonderful time !!!



The way was very simple,

There were few living magazines " Belle, Vogue Living etc..."

I just chose the page which I liked, decided by a first impression n cut it by scissors.

Just do again, collect, choose, cut, choose, cut.....

Choose, cut and put 

Fun!!!!

And then, I put them in the big A3 black paper.

It was very interesting, substantive one for me.

Actually 2 hours later,

I could find my ideal colors in the paper which I made up.

My own special !!!

I also got some color cards.

With color cards

It'll be very useful when I'll built my own house or change my house design or choose the furniture.

I'm thinking while I was caring my sick son....

In fact, my sweet son got sick till yesterday.

He's fine now but he has been coughing for a week...

Oh... poor him...

Every time I wonder if I could vacuum his sickness.

I think all of mums are same as me.

On the other hand,

Taking care of sick child is a hard work for mum ... all the while he is unwell, he always needs mum's attention, help, just Mum! Mum! Mummy!!!!

I love him, but it makes mum exhausted.

Yes,

It's real as well.

Just hope he'll get well little by little, feel better, be able to school ASAP !!!

(Please give me a free time without you soon !!!←in my heart )

Because I just wanted to make him fun and wanted to have a rest to be energetic.

Belgian beer with Neuhaus chocolates

Thanks, Hans !

It was a wonderful, precious time that you had a visit from Belgium.

Hans is my hubby's Belgian friend whom I know, too.

This time around, he came to Australia n stayed at our place for about a week.

In fact my husband met him in 2007 in US as foreign students.We got along well n sometimes he came to our place for dinner.

Now is 2012...

Yes, we're keeping in touch with him for 5yrs on FB or email.

This is the way it should be made.

I think,

My boys live in Sydney now n they got many friends here.
But even if they might leave here soon or in the future, they could contact each others wherever.

That's a just example.

Wonderful future !!!

Just in the small, same earth;-)))

BTW,

He brought lots of Belgian beers n gorgeous Neuhaus chocolates despite heavy heavy stuff...

So,

We could enjoy interesting comparison between " Trappist Westvleteren brewery" light n strong ones.

Of course,

Beautiful memories w Japanese foods

Just wanted to review...

I had a lot of Japanese foods every day while I was in Japan.

They were all elaborate, exquisite n delicious ;-))))

Casual meals...

Home made meals...

Gorgeous meals as well...

Hummm, yummmm^^

My stomach felt relieved to eat them.

Oops!!!

Actually I've put on weight over my vacation....

So have to work out !!!

Back to normal

I've been busy at being back to normal after I got back here in Australia.

For my first son's new year 2, second one's new preschool, n my husband's friend from Belgium.

Finally we've settled down after approx 40 holidays in Japan.

Busy but wonderful days,
